How does the build process go?

Project Development

During this first meeting we sit down and learn about each other. 


Building a home is a partnership and we will be spending a great deal of time together, so we want you to be comfortable working with us.

We then explore the location, and more importantly, explore your ideas, lifestyle and vision of your dream home.

Whether you have just a few ideas or have a complete home plan in mind, we will create a list of "MUST HAVE" design criteria and focus the design around your needs.

This meeting generally takes about 2 hours.

Site Evaluation

During this phase, your project developer will guide you through the initial steps of designing your home by developing a project outline.


This outline will guide you through the design and help you visualize your home.

It's time to sign on and get moving

During this phase, our design team will design your home based on the previous steps.



Generally, a blueprint will need several rounds of revisions before it is designed to your exact standards.

Sign off on the print, and set up financing

Spaces Designer Homes works with several local banks and credit unions to help you find the best rates and programs available.

They can be as easy or as extensive as you like.


Many of our clients enjoy the opportunity to come to our home design center and choose every detail, while others like to have our designers bring suggested samples and pick everything in one meeting.


You can get very detailed with one room and let us handle the rest, or anywhere in between.


Our clients also have the opportunity to make their selections from many brands of fixtures and appliances, all with the personalized attention to detail and customer service only a builder of our size can provide. ​
